Christian Education
The Christian Education Committee’s ministry provides classes and opportunities for the church’s children and adults to gain knowledge of the Bible and related Christian principles, beliefs and practices.
There are 2 adult education classes which meet each Sunday (Adult Bible Study and Wired Word)
Sunday school classes for children are conducted during the 9:00 service. Children attend the worship service until after the Children’s Moment, and then are dismissed to the Sunday School classes. Any exceptions to these classes are noted in the church calendar.
Christian Education other responsibilities include
- Maintaining a nursery during the regular 9:00 am and 11:00 am services
- Conducting an annual VBS/Church Retreat
- Recognizing teacher and student participation in education programs
- Arranging Community Easter Egg Hunt
- Working with the pastor on all Christian Education programs.
